What is Thinglink?

-Thinglink is a web 2.0 tool that enables us to add diverse interactions such as images, writing, videos, to a picture or an entire video that we create or upload to the website. For example, you can upload a video to Thinglink and add a few icons that can serve to give information or add our own voice. It helps us make learning more fun by presenting interactions in an entertaining way to our students. As a teacher, we may want to use it during our presentations and lessons.

How to use?

-Thinglink allows us to create various interactions from canvas, images, infographic to virtual tours that can be rotated 360 degrees. If you don't want to create a new content, you can upload a prepared one.Since it has a simple, noncomplex interface, I don't think you will have a difficulty at this stage.Later, you can make some adjustments on your content. For instance, you can change privacy settings, name your content, look at the statistics to learn how many people visit your content, download it (only if you have full version), clone it, choose a background, delete it if you don't like it and finally share it with others.Along with these simple alternatives, you can also edit your content, which I am going to explain in detail below.

Editing

-After you start editing your content, your screen is divided into two parts. You can see your content on the right side and gain access to editing options as "add tag, settings and done" on the left side.

1-Adding Tag: You create an icon which you can give any shape that thinglink presents to you. Then you see four alternatives as adding text label, text and media, content from website or creating toure.Text label lets you add only writing to your content. If you choose text and media, you can add image or video to the icon by writing a title, description, a button url and button text for it.You can also put a link to a website that you want to use as a source or reference via content from website. Finally, you can ask a question through icons, which is possible with creating toure. In case your students give the correct answer, they gain access to what's behind the icon.

2-Settings: This enables you to do some customisations such as choosing colour, changing background, activating or disabling animation and adding voice.

3-Done: This option lets you save your content.

-If thinglink has taken your attention, you can pay a visit to the website and learn more about it by clicking "explore", which will provide you with diverse examples.I am sharing the link to thinglink: https://www.thinglink.com

-Finally, I am sharing a screenshot of an image that I edited on Thinglink.I introduced the solar system with this image.I hope it helps you visualize Thinglink in your mind.
